Nicolette Callaway

Mothers are natural creators. We grow and birth another being into life. That being arrives, and we nurture it with love and our bodies. We share words and wisdom. We give that being power to move forward and create, and they hold our future in their hands.

Recently I have joined my roles as mother and as artist within my artwork. I have shifted from cut magazine paper collage to mixed media collage, and have been incorporating sketches of children's hands-- an homage to who they will become, and the impact they will have on our world.
